Intelligence develops by interacting with a physical and social world, in increasing levels of complexity, and through an embodied perspective on space and time. The developmental approach aims at modeling the cognitive development of the child and take inspiration from developmental psychology to implement machines that learn while embedded and interacting in the world, in a life-long and open-ended way.
